Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero Retires at the of 34

San Diego, CA—Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero retires from boxing after suffering a knockout loss to Omar Figueroa Jr this past Saturday. Guerrero told his fans on social media that he is retiring from boxing.

”I want to thank God for allowing me to have a wonderful career; I’m a kid from a small town in Gilroy, California, who made it to the mountain top of the boxing world. When I was a young kid growing up, I always believed in myself, but never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined a small-town kid like myself, would be fighting in front of millions of fans,” said Guerrero.

Guerrero, who won world titles in two weight and fought on the biggest stage when he lost to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Guerro never was the same after the Mayweather fight as he lost five of his last seven fights. Guerrero was always a warrior and gave lots of memorable wars, Guerrero at age 34 walks into the sunset as his career came to an end with a record of (33-6-1, 18 KOs).
