Peter Quillin and Alfredo Angulo put on a show last night. The punch stats show that Quillin almost landed double the punches over Angulo, but the judges scored the more “harder” punches. Regardless, it was a great fight and one that deserves a rematch. Angulo was considered on the downside of his career but this put him right back in the mix. He credits GGG former trainer Abel Sanchez for getting him in shape and believing in him. Angulo improves to 26-7, 21 KO’s while Peter Quillin falls to 34-2-1, 23 KO’s with his only other loss was at middleweight to Danny Jacobs.
