Beristain Not Folding To Jr’s Demands

By Alejandro Ramirez
Otomi, Mexico— Julio Cesar Chavez Jr has been training extremely hard for his upcoming fight against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. Chavez’s camp is taking place at the Otomi Ceremonial Center in Mexico with coach Ignacio Beristáin. Beristáin has been satisfied on how camp has been going till now. Chavez Jr was trying to leave Otomi and train in Mexico City or Las Vegas.
“I just told him I did not agree with that decision; it’s stupid it will spoil everything we’ve work for. We still have two weeks of hard work.
Beristáin has been the first coach that has put Jr in his place and not fold to his demands. Jr agreed with Beristáin, and the camp continues at Otomi.
Chavez’s Otomi Camp is expected to end a week before the fight. The plan is for Jr to arrive in Las Vegas on May 1st. Will Chavez survive camp with Beristáin till the end?? Only time will tell.
