Undefeated Combative Sports Awards and Houston Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts Hall of Fame is proudly hosting the “Combative Sports Awards Banquet Gala” the honoring individuals for their contribution and accomplishment within the Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts industry on Feb 17, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Red Owl Boxing Arena 12539 Perry Road, Houston, Texas 77070. This historical event is a milestone for Houston showcasing the Combative Sports Awards Banquet Gala at Red Owl Boxing, a state-of-the-art sports performance facility which features seating for more than 1,000 and a modern flare that includes VIP experiences and unique ringside seating. The “Owl’s Nest” is a full-service hospitality venue with high-end sound, lighting, LED screens and cutting-edge production for seamless streaming and television presentations.
Undefeated Combative Sports Awards will be inducting and recognizing individuals into Houston Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts Hall of Fame honoring the Past, Embracing the Present and Inspiring the Future. Our mission is to showcase the history of boxing legendary such as George Foreman, Reggie Johnson, Raul Marquez, Juan Diaz, Rocky Juarez, Lou Savarese, David Donis, Miguel Flores, Marlen Esparza, Joshua Edwards, Frank Tate, Anthony Wiley, Jack Johnson, Cleveland Williams, Timothy Goodall Jr., Cornelius White, Alfonzo Lopez, Regis Prograis, Eugene Hill Sr., Termite Walkins, Jermall Charlo, and Jermell Charlo. Houston UFC fighters such as Derrick Lewis, Daniel Pineda, Issac Villanueva, Mike Jackson, Sage Northcutt, Alex Morono, Juan Adams, Matt Schnell, Ricky Turcios, Mans Martinez, Mike Swick, Roberto Sanchez, Andrew Craig Arron Phillips Trevin Giles and Yves Edwards. We will be also recognizing individuals who have played a major role in combative sports such as Master Zulfi Ahrmed, Tim Mousel, and our local promoters Forris Washington, Next Fight Up, Alfonzo Lopex El Tigre Promotions, Reed Shelger Paradigm Combat Promotions, Eric Garcia Fury Fighting Championship and many more.
We are so proud to honor our own National Super Heavyweight Champion, Pan American Gold Medalist, Joshua Edwards from Undefeated Boxing Academy is part of TEAM USA and will be representing us at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France. Joshua, will join the list of Houston Olympians Medalist such as: Frank Tate 1988 Gold Medal, George Foreman 1964 Gold Medal, Jesse Valdez 1972 Bronze Medal, Raul Marquez 1996 Bronze Medal, Rocky Juarez 2000 Silver Medal, Marlen Esparza 2012 Bronze Medalist and Virginia “Ginny” Fuchs 2020 Olympian.
