Lincoln, Nebraska.– Nebraska loves their boxing. A packed house of over twelve thousand (12,121) witnesses history this past Saturday at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. As local Nebraskans, Terence “Bud” Crawford became the undisputed king of the junior welterweight division after knocking out Julius Indongo in the third round.
Indongo arrive in Nebraska with plans to spoil Crawford plans to make history in his backyard but, Crawford had other plans. From the get-go of the event, the Pinnacle Arena was rocking with excited fans ready to see Crawford become the undisputed champion. In the first round, Indongo looked anxious as Crawford came out with a southpaw stance. Crawford landed a left body shot during the first round that shook Indongo. Crawford dominated the first round and controlled the round. In the second round, Crawford scores a knockdown after landing one crushing body shots that hurt Indongo and made him walk backward. Crawford kept attacking him and landed another body shot that gave Indongo a late reaction pain that made him hit the canvas. Indongo beat the count and survive the round. Crawford started at Indongo like he was prey before starting the third round. Indongo never recovers from the vicious body shots from the second round and looked beat. Crawford landed a crushing left body shot that drop Indongo instantly. Jack Rees counted to ten and waved the fight off. Crawford became the undisputed junior welterweight champion of the world
