Deontay Wilder Returns June 27th in Kansas

Deontay Wilder, nicknamed “The Bronze Bomber,” is a former WBC heavyweight champion known for his devastating knockout power, holding a record of 43-4-1 with 42 KOs.

Tyrrell Herndon, Wilder’s opponent, has a 24-5 record and is coming off three consecutive wins, but previously lost to rising heavyweight prospect Richard Torrez Jr.

This fight marks Wilder’s return after a year-long hiatus following a fifth-round knockout loss to Zhilei Zhang in June 2024, with Wilder struggling at 1-4 in his last five bouts.
