Eddie Hearn Confirms Dana White Meeting as Fury-Joshua Promotion Dispute Heads to Los Angeles

Eddie Hearn has confirmed a face-to-face meeting with Dana White and Zuffa Boxing representatives in Los Angeles on Wednesday as the promotional power struggle surrounding Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua moves into a potentially decisive phase. The December 11 heavyweight showdown in Cardiff is already official, but White has publicly maintained that his side will be involved in producing the event while Hearn has disputed how much authority TKO can have under the existing arrangements.

The meeting is the genuinely new development. Rather than another round of public back-and-forth, Hearn is now indicating the sides will sit down and try to find a workable role for White. That matters because Fury-Joshua is too commercially significant for the promotional dispute to become the story. Hearn has signaled that he is open to cooperation if it benefits Joshua and the event, but any arrangement still has to fit the contracts already in place.

For boxing fans, the key point is that the fight itself remains set for Cardiff while the business structure behind it is still being negotiated. Wednesday’s meeting could finally clarify whether Zuffa Boxing becomes an active promotional partner or remains on the outside. Until that happens, claims that White is definitely producing the event—or definitely excluded from it—go beyond what has actually been settled.
