Khabib Nurmagomedov’s lightweight championship could be stripped

Khabib Nurmagomedov Defeated Conor McGregor by making him tap in the 4th. Up to that point, most fans had it 2-1 for Khabib. What happened afterward was an embarrassment. Khabib jumped over the octagon and attacked McGregor’s people. While distracted with that Khabib’s cornermen jumped over the octagon to get in the ring to hit McGregor from behind.

Dana White said three members of Nurmagomedov’s team involved in the incident were arrested and released late Saturday night. White said McGregor told him that he would not press charges.

Conor released a statement today saying he’s looking forward to the rematch.
