Klay Thompson and Dallas Mavericks guard Josh Green couldn’t stop praising Cooper Flagg after recent practices. At just 18 years old, Flagg is already turning heads with his relentless energy, maturity, and skills on the floor.
“The thing I’m most impressed by with Cooper is he did not sit out one drill,” said Thompson. “He’s an incredible shooter, he’s got great stamina, and he’s only 18 years old making a huge impact. I’m just excited for his future, but he can also help us so much right now.”
Mavericks guard Josh Green echoed those sentiments, highlighting Flagg’s approach to learning. “He’s going out there, he’s being a sponge. He’s learning a lot, learning on the fly. No matter if he’s getting things right or wrong, he’s being vocal, he’s being confident, and that’s what we love.”
Cooper Flagg’s combination of shooting ability, confidence, and energy is already earning him respect from NBA veterans—and he hasn’t even played his first official game yet.
