KSI & LOGAN PAUL EXECUTIVE PRODUCE COMPETING EPISODES OF “40 DAYS”
Ahead of their much-anticipated rematch and professional debuts on Nov. 9, internet stars KSI and Logan Paul will take the fight to YouTube, the arena where they are seasoned veterans. The two fighters in conjunction with DAZN Originals will present a special three-part edition of the training camp series 40 DAYS to capture their bitter backstory and final preparations before they settle the score as professional boxers.
The first two episodes – 40 DAYS: KSI and 40 DAYS: LOGAN PAUL’S COUNTDOWN TO FIGHT NIGHT – will be unveiled today, Oct. 30 on each fighter’s YouTube channel. The finale, 40 DAYS: KSI VS. LOGAN PAUL II, will debut Tuesday, Nov. 5 on each fighter’s YouTube channel as well as DAZN’s platforms.
“There will be no first-round decapitation,” said KSI. “Everyone will see the disease of America finally ended. I train harder, work harder and that will show in my episode. We’re in the end game now, haha!”
“On Nov. 9, KSI will be neutralized in violent fashion,” said Logan Paul. “My episode will give him a taste of the maniac he’s going to be trapped in the ring with. The clock is ticking.”
“When it comes to content, KSI and Logan are experts in producing exactly what speaks to their audience,” said Deirdre Fenton, DAZN Director, Original Programming. “We wanted to give each fighter the opportunity to put this bitter rivalry in their own words before entering the ring on Nov. 9.”
YouTube sensations KSI and Logan Paul fought to a majority draw in their first matchup, which was fought as an amateur bout with headgear in front of a sold-out crowd in Manchester, England in August 2018. On Nov. 9 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and streamed live exclusively on DAZN, KSI and Logan Paul will meet as licensed professional boxers. The event will be streamed as part of the action-packed Fight Season on DAZN.
Fight Season on DAZN continues this weekend from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas as Mexican superstar Canelo Alvarez will jump up two weight classes to meet light heavyweight titlist Sergey Kovalev in one of the biggest fights of 2019. The three-part series 40 Days: Canelo vs. Kovalev is available now via the DAZN service and on DAZN’s social media channels. The third and final episode debuts Thursday, Oct. 31.
