Kubrat Pulev Survives Early Onslaught to KO Bogdan Dinu

Kubrat Pulev (27-1, 14 KOs) of Bulgaria scored a dramatic seventh round KO over WBA #14 Bogdan Dinu (18-2, 14 KOs). In the fourth round, Dinu landed a good punch that had Pulev cut and he went on a tear but was not able to put Pulev down.

In the seventh round, Pulev dropped Dinu but was deducted a point for hitting him while he was on one knee. Pulev then bounced right back on Dinu and dropped him again and the fight was waived off.
