Lomachenko Defeats Jose Pedraza Then Calls Out Mikey Garcia

Lomachenko got off to a pretty slow start. His foot movement and slipping was not there. However, he adjusted as the rounds went on. Pedraza found movement and combination punches was the key to keep Loma at bay. As the rounds went on Loma began to find shot here and there.

Going into the 11th round Loma honed in his skills and went back to Loma of old and dropped Pedraza twice. The bell saved Pedraza from another onslaught from Loma. The twelfth round Loma tried to attack but Pedraza fired back with combinations. Loma walked away with a unanimous decision.

Afterward: “I want two more belts and maybe next year we can make a fight with Mikey Garcia.”

With the win Loma picked up the WBO Belt.
