Naoya Inoue Responds to Not Needing to Fight in America

USA Boxing fans are urging Naoya Inoue to fight here in America if he wants his name to be World Wide and Popular. America has been known to take fighters from overseas and making their name bigger by coming over here and fighting in Vegas and other high profile places.

Apparently Inoue disagrees. This was his response:

“The home of the lightweight division is now here in Japan.”

“If you want to see the fight, come to Japan.”

“If there is something better than what is available in the Japanese market in America, I would be happy to go.”

So far it looks like we won’t be seeing him over here any time soon.
