Richard “RC” Commey TKO’s Ray Beltran

Temecula, California – At the Famous Panchanga and Resort Casino TopRank Boxing and Espn presented Richard Commey Vs. Ray Beltran. Both fighters put the fan-friendly fight for a rowdy crowd in Temecula, CA. Unfortunately, the contest became a none title fight after Ray Beltran did not make weight.
In the first round, both fighters came to fight, but Commey got the best of the brawl as he dropped Beltran twice in the round. Beltran fought back and was able to survive the round. In the 3rd round, both fighters landed vicious combinations. Ray started to work the body and hurt Commey, but Commey fought back to end strong. The 4th round started with a headbutt. Commey began to land hooks and hurt Beltran. Commey was able to drop and put Beltran in bad shape, but Beltran fought back and landed a left hook that stuns Commey and was able to have a strong ending of the round. The action went back and forward in the 6th, but headbutt stops the action as Commey complained of Beltran fight tactics. The fight continued, and Commey had a strong ending by landing a strong combination. Commey looked very strong and landed a big left hand the dropped Beltran again. Beltran was able to survive the count, but the referee stopped the action. As Richard Commey made the first defense of his IBF world lightweight title in style.
