Zack Snyder, known for directing “300” and “Zack Snyder’s Justice League,” is collaborating with the UFC and Turki Alalshikh, Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority Chairman, to produce “Brawler,” a film about a young fighter’s rise in the UFC while battling personal demons.
Turki Alalshikh, a key figure in Saudi Arabia’s entertainment sector, has been pushing for high-profile projects, including sponsoring the 2025 Drone Racing World Cup, and previously expressed interest in a UFC movie during a 2024 event in Saudi Arabia.
The film “Brawler” draws comparisons to the 2011 MMA movie “Warrior,” which depicted two brothers in a mixed martial arts tournament, but Snyder’s involvement suggests a visually intense, dramatic take on the UFC world.
