Devin Haney Signs Exclusive Multi-Fight Deal With DAZN as Welterweight Options Expand
Devin Haney has officially found his long-term broadcast home. DAZN announced Friday that it signed an exclusive multi-fight agreement with Devin Haney Promotions, bringing the unbeaten three-division champion and current WBO welterweight titleholder to the platform for a series of global events. Financial terms and the number of fights were not disclosed. Haney said the agreement puts him in position to pursue the biggest challenges available while also helping Devin Haney Promotions grow its roster and develop future champions.
The announcement matters because DAZN’s boxing ecosystem now includes several fighters and promotional partners capable of producing major welterweight matchups without the usual network barriers. Haney has recently been linked to IBF champion Liam Paro after negotiations with Shakur Stevenson fell apart, while Teofimo Lopez is also aligned with DAZN. DAZN did not announce Haney’s first opponent under the new agreement Friday, so any Haney-Paro date should still be treated as unconfirmed until the fight is formally announced.
The key change is that Haney’s DAZN relationship is no longer merely a reported deal. Friday’s announcement makes the partnership official and gives one of boxing’s most accomplished young champions a defined platform for the next stage of his career. The next major trigger will be confirmation of who Haney faces first—and whether his new DAZN deal immediately produces a welterweight unification.
