Emanuel Navarrete, O’Shaquie Foster Make Weight for Three-Belt Unification in San Antonio

Emanuel Navarrete and O’Shaquie Foster officially cleared the final hurdle for Saturday’s three-belt super featherweight unification at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio. Navarrete weighed exactly 130 pounds, while Foster came in at 129.8. Navarrete’s WBO and IBF championships and Foster’s WBC title will be at stake in the 12-round main event.

Making weight was particularly noteworthy for Navarrete, who has dealt with difficult cuts to the 130-pound limit in the past. Foster questioned his opponent’s weight cut after Friday’s faceoff, saying Navarrete appeared to have struggled before ultimately making the required limit. The official result, however, is what matters: both champions made weight and all three belts remain eligible to change hands Saturday night.

The matchup brings together two contrasting styles with control of most of the division on the line. Navarrete enters as the pressure fighter and heavier puncher, while Foster has built his championship run around defense, timing and adjustments. With the scales now behind them, there are no remaining procedural obstacles. Saturday will determine whether Navarrete adds the WBC belt to his collection or Foster leaves San Antonio as a unified three-belt champion.
