Ellie Scotney Injury Forces MVPW-07 Shakeup; Ramla Ali-Mikiah Kreps Elevated to Co-Main

Most Valuable Promotions reshaped its November 8 MVPW-07 card in Arlington, Texas, after Ellie Scotney withdrew from her scheduled WBC featherweight title fight against Tiara Brown because of injury. The change moves Ramla Ali’s showdown with unbeaten Mikiah Kreps into the co-main event at College Park Center, where the vacant WBO and IBF super bantamweight championships will be at stake. MVP said it hopes to see Scotney and Brown back in the ring soon.

The revised card still carries significant championship depth. Ali, 11-2 with three knockouts, gets the biggest title opportunity of her professional career against Kreps, who enters 11-0 with three stoppages. MVP also added an IBF-WBA super flyweight unification between Irma Garcia and Nataly Delgado, while Brittany Sims and Shera Mae Patricio will meet for a WBA title on the preliminary portion of the event.

The injury is a setback for Scotney’s attempt to establish herself at featherweight after becoming undisputed at 122 pounds, but the reshuffle creates a major opportunity for Ali and Kreps. Instead of simply replacing a bout, MVP has kept the card centered on championship stakes. The key development to watch now is Scotney’s recovery timeline and whether her postponed challenge of Brown can be rescheduled once she is medically ready.
